MEMORIES

Their set was only 32-minutes long and at the end the audience started booing. The reason had nothing to do with the quality of Joy Division's performance, which was greatly enjoyed, but with the audience's disappointment over the length of the set and the lack of an encore. Neither the time on stage nor the option of an encore are often matters for support bands to decide, and Joy Division were following a firm time schedule set down by the tour promoters
